I’ve dabbled with lots of writing apps over the last few years on iOS, from iA Writer to the full on Ulysses. What I’ve come to the realisation now is that they don’t fit in with my workflow that I use across my devices.
What I’ve found is that I often either posted directly to the Wordpress app via the share sheet or copy and pasted into the Wordpress app. So I just cut out the middleman and just used the Wordpress app for a bit.
It’s stuck, I now only use the Wordpress app to do all of my writing, like this one. I can create new posts when I get an idea and save as a draft or be spontaneous and write up a post, again like this straight out my brain and onto the blog.
Anything that is a random thought or observation I’d share on Twitter I now share to the blog via the Micro.blog app.
